The two times I've come here, the food was okay, but the experience I received from two of their receptionists was both hospitable and straight up amazing!! So nice and lovely! Particularly Matilda, great girl, simply no words!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Italo Australian Club:
I visited this restaurant for a great meal five years ago and it was lively. The meal was decent as well. However, it is no longer the same as it used to be, with large sections now unused. When we recently visited for a meal, we were disappointed to find that the bistro was closed, and we were the only ones in the bar area. I attended a party at the club where my coworkers had made a reservation. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the meal was excellent.
Why doesn't the restaurant direct people to the location in Narrabundah on their website? I just got back home after a delightful evening at the restaurant, enjoying fantastic live music by Mathew Vrins and a delicious dinner. Liz from the restaurant was charming and Sarah from the bar was helpful. I will definitely be returning next Friday. They should let people know they are still open for business.
The food was good and the staff were friendly but it can be very slow to get food. There is little reason to go apart from the food, there is no ambiance.
Dropped in there for lunch today - efficient no-nonsense service. An entrée sized plate of delicious pasta and a glass of wine for $15. You have to become a member ($5.50) or be signed in by a member.
When we went up to the Italian restaurant we felt like we were in a time warp back to the 60's or 70's in a NSW RSL Club. However food was very tasty and good sized servings
