Peking duck dumplings super flavorful ; Ume oysters fresh and cooling Fried chicken thigh with lemon braised onion and snow cheese excellent and juicy. Full serving size so great value. Crispy fried and still moist barramundi with fantastic butter on top. Kobe...beef skirt steak quality meat cooked perfectly, served in a strong teriyaki jus. We couldn’t have been happier, and couldn’t face dessert… Added to our ‘must return’ list.

An excellent restaurant that we visit every time we go to Canberra. Great flavours from fusion of Japanese dishes and international ingredients. The nasu degaku was the best we’d had, and the smoked potatoes were good excellent too!

We make this restaurant a compulsory stop every time we are in Canberra and it never disappoints. The menu has something for everyone The tuna and the Kobe steak are firm favourites

Wow… what an incredible dining experience. My partner and I had the 5 course “feed me” dinner and to say it was incredible is an understatement. I had the vegetarian option and I was blown away by the quality and flavour of the servings. I’ve...never been so amazed by the taste of eggplant before hands down, the eggplant was the star of the night! My partner and I loved all of our meals, we honestly couldn’t fault them. The staff were very attentive and polite, and we really enjoyed the service. The only possible downside I could think of is that the music was a touch too loud, but it didn’t dampen our fantastic evening. Thank you to Akiba for a fantastic dining experience. You should be very proud of your restaurant!
