The pies at this restaurant are incredible! The crust is heavenly, and the filling is excellent. As you drive along Great Eastern Highway on your way to Kalgoorlie, York, or Toodjay, keep an eye out for the Baker's Hill pie shop. These pies are to die for, and the place has a fascinating history as well. The original family that settled there and opened the shop later moved to the greater Albany area, with the family name being Baker. In our opinion, the pies here are even better than those at the award-winning Miami Bakehouse. They are larger and more affordable as well. I make a point of stopping by regularly to pick up some cold pies to enjoy at home for a meal or snack.
