There was a nice variety on the menu and their summer special was great value at $33.00 for a 3 course meal. Food was tasty, hot and the wait time was minimal. All in all, a very good experience.

From the planning stage to the end of the party evening, the staff, service and food... read more We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with 34 guests at the Blackshop. From the planning stage to the end of the party evening, the staff, service and food were amazing. Tatiana was our main contact and she made helpful suggestions but made sure our ideas were honoured. The cocktails and appetizers were served in a timely fashion as was the sit down dinner that followed. Three guests with special dietary needs were accommodated without question. The food was excellent and portion sizes were very adequate. Our private room connected to an outdoor patio that we used prior to the dinner. Many guests made favourable comments on the excellent setup. We would definitely recommend the Blackshop for any function!
