The com... read more This restaurant serves generous portions, so come hungry. The "Famous" burger is huge, as is the Wimpy Club Sandwich which could easily feed two people. The combo meals also come with a large bowl of fries. While the prices are not cheap, the food is worth it if you're craving classic diner fare and want to indulge. They even have tableside jukeboxes for a nostalgic touch.

This happened to be a Wednesday evening and their special was all you could ea... read more We had not been here before but we had eaten at other Wimpy's with no complaints. This happened to be a Wednesday evening and their special was all you could eat fish and chips for $10.99 which is a bargain no matter where you go. Rather than take a menu choice, we both decided on the fish and chip dinner. It came out very shortly, was surprised at the speed. Each plate had lots of fries and three larges pieces of Pollock fish wrapped in batter and deep fried. The plate also came with a coleslaw salad, pickle, generous portion of lemon and tarter sauce. The fish was very tasty and when we were finished our fish, the waitress asked if we would like some more, and we both said one more piece of fish please. It was delivered very shortly to our table along with more tarter sauce. The meal was excellent and the service was first class. We will be there again in the near future. Total cost of the bill for the dinners, coffee and a beer came to $33.8 plus tip. Cheap date by any means. Thank you Wimp's.
