What Mark H doesn't like about Pagu:
It looked promising as the menu was creative and different, but the food was just not that tasty and it was really expensive. We tried a lot of things: the hand rolls were just OK, nothing you couldn 't get at a sushi place; the sucking pig which I was really looking forward to was quite disappointing; the salmon bowl was just a bunch of mushy rice; the pea bao looked good, but didn 't try any. Visited Pagu last Tuesday with Off the Beaten Path Food Tours and it was AMAZING! We each had cocktails (the Pica Pica packs a punch! and tried the Black Cod Croquettas and Patatas Bravas. The flavors were unforgettable, and so was the story about the meaning behind the name ‘Pagu’. Our servers were attentive and had a great working knowledge of the entire menu.
