This place charges hidden junk fees. I went in to get a burrito and asked for jalapeños, plain iceberg lettuce, pickled onions, and salsa, basic toppings you’d reasonably expect to be included. They charged me an extra $2–$3 without listing those charges anywhere on the menu or notifying me in advance. When I asked about it, the employee told me, “you should have asked,” as if it’s my job to guess their hidden fees. That’s not just bad service, it’s illegal. Massachusetts law now prohibits these kinds of undisclosed add-on charges under the Attorney General’s junk fee regulations (940 CMR 38.00). Businesses are required to disclose all optional or mandatory fees clearly and up front, in writing. Since this place failed to do that, I’ll be filing a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Just put your prices on the menu, this shouldn’t be hard. Service: Take out Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Wonderful neighborhood spot! The service is great— Andres was very helpful. The chicken tortilla soup was great and the rice pudding was a highlight. Will be back! Cannot recommend enough.

The portions are small and some of the staff is rude to customers. The food lacks flavor and it's not worth the money. There are other better places to buy Mexican food. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, and I usually give places three chances before forming an opinion. However, after my first disappointing experience, I won’t be returning. After just one bite of the braised carnitas burrito, I was put off by the presence of bone and cartilage pieces mixed in with the filling. I couldn't return the burrito since I was at work, but if I had the option, I definitely would have asked for a refund. I've included pictures of the burrito and the bone and cartilage bits. It was inedible.

The tacos and nachos were incredibly tasty, the dessert was delightful, and the service was outstanding. Be sure to try the tres leches cake—it's absolutely divine!
