This was a fun way to start an evening that included seeing Gloria: A Life at A.R.T.
Too loud and food WAY too expensive. $16 for French fries? Nope nope nope
It was so noisy that two of our party left immediately. Then we couldn't hear the waiter. Also the beer selection was not that great and very pricey. No dark beer to speak of in winter? Only 3 to choose from for pitchers? We ended up leaving. A brew hall should actually have lots of brews to choose from and affordable food and you should be able to talk to your friends.
I'm not young, so when I stepped in here and saw what appeared to be a beer hall filled with college kids, my expectation for the cuisine was cautious. I must say that they surprise me with amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine. My wife and I loved it and will go back again. I might even have a beer.
Upscale prices, shack atmosphere and ok food. Waitress seemed unhappy
