We had: Unicorn Oysters these are my favorite oysters but you couldn't taste them due to the overwhelming garnishes on top. There was too much dill and cucumber and they overpowered the flavor of the actual oyster. Tuna Crudo this was the best dish of the night by far. Tuna N'duja this was disappointing. Again, the flavors were imbalanced and all I could taste was the calabrian chili in the tuna and none of the fish. Chickpea Pancake this was good though not what I was expecting. It was more of a latke style pancake which felt very heavy for July. Still very tasty and would order it again. Asparagus with Devil Butter if you are going to Moeca, get this dish. Easily tied for first for me. Crab Udon Laksa We ordered it not knowing what we were going to get but hoping it was going to be great... and we were left disappointed. The crab was battered, fried soft shell and here again, the batter flavor overpowered the crab to the point where I felt like I was eating fried dough. Service was attentive but a little slow in checking in on drinks. All in all, we had a nice night, the ambiance was lovely and if we lived in the neighborhood we'd probably give it another go in a few months. But for the price and the distance, I don't think we'll be going back.
