The cappuccino was outstanding! I ordered mine to go, but they didn’t provide lids for the cup size I selected, which was puzzling. Also, the indoor area was quite noisy and crowded, making it difficult to unwind. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
Faro Café is a charming little coffee shop hidden behind some buildings. It tends to get busy during peak hours. The café has a no-laptop policy, which encourages visitors to either enjoy some quiet time or have conversations with one another. I really like this aspect; it creates a wonderful atmosphere. However, I found the coffee and baked goods to be just average. I ordered a Chai Latte that wasn't very hot when it arrived (I prefer my lattes steaming). While the food options aren't outstanding, I might opt for Tatte or another place for better pastries. In the end, you're paying for the relaxed, underground vibe, complete with its delightful outdoor seating area. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Faro Café is a lively coffee shop tucked away in Harvard Square, and the experience is definitely worth the wait. On a Sunday morning visit, I tried one of the fantastic specialty lattes from the menu, and it did not disappoint. The croissant was simply delightful—don't miss out on one! I appreciate the laptop-free environment, which makes it an ideal place to unwind with a friend or a good book.
