A gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Just big enough, just busy enough to feel a good vibe. The food was wonderful. We shared the dolmades ,calamari (which was cooked perfectly)and a tziki dip for apps. All home runs. The lamb kebab with roasted potato or string beans were delicious. Oh.,.. we also went home with a bottle of their salad dressing! View all feedback.
What Eda Turcotte doesn't like about Desfina:
The food was quite enjoyable, and the sea bass was particularly delicious. However, there were too many flies in the restaurant, which was off-putting. Additionally, the prices were on the high side for the portion sizes we received. They also served us Greek bottled water without asking, and it was $5 per bottle. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5. View all feedback.
Cute little Greek restaurant with good food and service.

Simply amazing Greek /Mediterranean food. I cannot say enough about this place. Our server Ellena was amazing. My daughter and I ran across this place while on vacation. We enjoyed a truly authentic spread: great fresh bread and herded olive oil, grilled calamari appetizer, the muscles dinner, lemon rice soup, Greek salad with grilled shrimp, Greek chianti, orange cake, baklava and another shredded rolled dessert that is my new favorite. We took lamb gyro plate and village salad back to hotel for hubby and it was truly amazing as well. Everything was amazing!
We happen to be working nearby and decided to stop in. I got the chicken kabob wrap which was delicious and fresh. My coworker got the baked Lamb with rice and he raved about it it looked like the meat was falling off the bone. This is definitely a walk-up establishment as the only parking I could see was on the street and in the middle of the day during the week there weren't a lot of spots. The pricing is very reasonable and the food is very good quality I would definitely visit here again if I'm in the area and on foot.
In town for business, and based on reviews, ordered takeout. The grape leaves were soggy, the lamb wasn't cooked the best part of the meal was the worst for you (the fries). Sorry to be negative, but we need to know when we're not at our best. Plenty of other great restaurants via a short drive over to the North End I would recommend that.
