The meals generally is expensive. The sushi is small in portion and of cheap quality. The ramen has fake tonkotsu, it's not made of real bone marrow but more chemically infused flavour. And there's a piece of meatloaf in it too which is kind of gross. The best part about this meal was the teriyaki chicken and the ginger that came with the sushi.
Stopped in here for a quick lunch of Ramen in the NW. Was seated quickly and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I chose the Garlic Tonkotsu and was not disappointed. The Ramen is made fresh daily in house and the broth was flavourful and delicious. I would recommend this place for Ramen for sure. I'll have to go back and try some of their sushi dishes next time. Overall impressed.
I did a take out from this place. As far as I could tell, there were only 2 waitresses there, and they prioritize the sit in customers over the take outs even though i was the first in line, everyone behind me were seated and served before they came back to me. I love their special scallops, they were in a decent size and quite tasty. I was disappointed with the small cuts of the toro and unagi even though the prices are definitely above average. Tried their sakura blossom roll, it's unique, but not that tasty. Overall, I spent about $33 for a take out order and got 1 roll, 6 pieces of nigiri sushi. I find it more pricey than other places I go to but the quality isn't all the way up there yet.
Bento was really good however the sushis were poorly rolled and tasted very dry. This is very sad because it' regular sushis not even specials one. I threw half of the sushis in the garbage..
This is a really great restaurant! The staff was polite and friendly. There are plenty of food options to choose from. We tried the ramen, which was quite good, especially the tonkotsu ramen with chashu pork—super tender despite being low in fat. The takoyaki was also delicious!
