My usual order is the sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, black pepper chicken, and shanghai noodles. Easily fills my family of four with left-overs for tomorrow. Highly recommended!

The waitress seemed more interested in the show th... read more When I arrived at this restaurant, it was empty and a game Show was playing on the large TV's at full volume. The waitress seemed more interested in the show than me and when I asked for the TV show to be changed to music, she reluctantly changed it to a news channel.....go figure! The food was OK, but definitely nothing special. Huge volume of takeaways going on and I think that is where they make their money. Service was iffy and needs a major change. The place was sort of scummy inside. A close look at the floor is not recommended. I don't think I'll go again.

They have a h... read more This restaurant offers the best ginger chicken in the city. The salt and pepper squid is tasty, but it tends to be overcooked about half the time. They have a high volume of takeout orders, but they need to improve their time estimates. On my last two visits, they quoted me a wait time of 35 minutes, but it ended up taking over an hour.

Ample nuts are pr... read more This is my favourite Western-style Chinese food in the south. The quality is very high- vegetables are always crispy, fresh and clean-tasting. Ample nuts are provided in the cashew dishes. As well, they take pride in their restaurant and are very friendly! They take such care to ensure the fried dishes are still crispy when you get home, making a whole in the box to let out steam so the food doesn’t soak up moisture and get limp. This is my new go-to in the south.
