Cedars Restaurant & Deli - Calgary

I’m an out of towner who has eaten at this deli located in this business building complex several times. The Mediterranean style sandwiches are fresh , tasty and I always have a piece of baklava. Definitely the best choice at this little food court. The staff are particularly friendly. Recommended!

We visited on a weekday evening about half an hour before closing time. We ordered the mezza plate and kibbe balls. Even though it was the end of the day the food displays looked fresh and appetizing not limp and picked over. The tabouli was fresh and had the right proportion of bulgur. The hummus was creamy with the right balance of garlic and lemon. Falafel were as they should be nicely crisp on the outside with a soft flavorful interior. The kibbe balls were deep fried to order. They were full of tasty ground meat and onion filling (no pine nuts in the filling,the traditional filling has them). Cripy on the outside, and a puff of steam escapes when I bit into it. Not greasy at all. Ah, sooo good. Pita bread was served warm, and extra bread requested was no problem at all. Ordered at counter and food brought to our table

Was with my husband in Calgary and just happened to stop in, never heard of it before and this place was absolutely amazing!! Food was absolutely delicious. Very generous portions and the staff is super friendly. We will be coming back for sure as well as spreading the word about this gem.

One of the better falafels in town, nice portions and good pricing, the humas is not bad , and very nice place for lunch

We stopped by for lunch on a busy Saturday. Quick service restaurants with a few tables. Food was fresh with good portions. The restaurant looks like it could use a bit of an update. Overall, good for a snack
