This is a great new spot in Bridgeland. They serve street food and more. The burgers are delicious. The lemon pepper wings are very tasty, and you have to try their home made tater totes!I have been here with family, friends, and on business lunches. Day or night, it is a great spot to go!
As much as I love a good burger, I rarely order one when we go out because the chances are it will be a huge disappointment and not worth the calories! This time I was very pleasantly surprised! I had the Magic Mushroom burger which was a handmade patty topped with portobellini mushrooms, a hint of truffle aioli, boursin cheese and arugula, all presented on a lovely brioche bun! It was amazing! The patty was nicely seasoned, juicy but not greasy. The toppings were just right and the whole thing was so good that I may not wait another six months before having another restaurant burger! We had the tempura green beans to start and they were lovely. My husband had the mac and cheese with brisket ends and enjoyed it but we both agreed that the burger was the star! Service was great - we will definitely be back!
We went on a Friday night and it was packed. The restaurant is more like a pub with TVs everywhere and it's overall extremely noisy. So if you are looking for a quiet place, that's definitely not the one! You can barely hear what's the person next to you is saying. Service was extremely slow. It took forever to get our drinks, nachos and then finally burgers. Even getting the check took forever. They should probably hire more staff and since this pub just opened I guess they are still testing the water. However service is close to zero, seriously. Waiter was nice but it just took forever and the ladies with me were starting to get angry about it.The burger I got was just ok. Extremely greasy and the tater tots (you can substitute for an extra $4, on their Facebook page they told me it was 3 and all their substitutes were $3 but whatever. At this point, I didn't want to spend an hour trying to get the waiter's attention for a dollar.) were over fried. I know most people seem to like their tater tots but I found them so greasy that I could only ate 3! And it was overcooked. (Black on the outside. They obviously left it in the fryer for way too long)If they improve the whole thing I guess it could become a nice pub to stop by in Bridgeland. Definitely not my cup of tea (wayyyy too loud) but I guess people will enjoy it.
It was a Saturday just before lunchtime, and M had just finished a competition and was feeling hungry.
