We were looking for an interesting place for dinner and happened upon l’Aromat. The dishes were delicious! Every bit was enjoyable! Service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. We hope to come back if we visit Caen again!

We will of course remember the delicious fare, exquisitely conceived and presented. Our server, Paul was a delight--warm and so accommodating--and the lovely ambience afforded us the quiet calm we were seeking. Lovely wine offerings. Affordable, approachable elegance.

The food was... read more We are so glad we dined at L’Aromate! The staff was friendly and lovely to us as English speakers and helped us understand the menu and selections. The food was truly excellent a gourmet experience. We have loved our stay in Caen and dinner here will be one of our favorite memories from this trip.
