So I have been in the cafe for coffee a few times now. Not unusual for them to stuff up the order. Skinny flat white has morphed into cappuccinos and mug sizes. Chips are sometimes ok but sometimes taste like they have been sitting there...for a while waiting to be bought out. I am told that the meals there are pretty good but I haven't tried them. Certainly their specials board looks good and reasonably priced. Convenient parking underneath.

We recently visited i-side and enjoyed a mild morning, so we chose to sit outside for coffee and banana bread. The staff baked and served it with butter - delicious! A great spot for coffee, dinner, or breakfast.

I initially ordered an Iced Latte, but was informed that there was no ice available. I then decided to order a Flat White, while my friend ordered a Long Black. Our drinks were served in takeaway cups, even though we did not request them to be taken away. To make matters worse, the Flat White had no crema and was weak and tasteless. I requested for it to be remade as it was too weak. The second attempt looked more like a cappuccino with lots of froth, but it was still unpleasant with a dry and unpleasant aftertaste. It seems that the café staff may benefit from some proper barista training. My friend enjoyed their Long Black, however. Additionally, there was a significant amount of pigeon poop near our table, which I believe should be cleaned daily given that food is being served in that environment. Although the café is situated in a nice location, the lack of attention to detail and proper training is disappointing. I would not consider returning.

My partner ordered a roll with salami, roasted capsicum, cheese, and tomato relish with a side of chips. The chips were cooked perfectly, the roll was nicely toasted, although there was too much salami which overpowered the other flavors. The biggest disappointment was the lack of gluten-free and dairy-free options. The only choices were a caramel mudcake muffin and a limp Greek salad. Even when I ordered a soy latte, I was served a regular full-fat latte. The service was poor and the overall experience was unsatisfactory.
