I've been ordering take out from this restaurant for the last 10 years and have seen a serious decline in the quality and taste of the food in the last year. I've tried ordering different things in the hopes that something will be good, but I've been disappointed each time. The wonton soup and the hot and sour, both used to have a slice or two of pork in them, but they've stopped adding any meat in an effort to cut costs, I'm sure. The beef is unrecognizable. I have no idea what I'm eating. The General Tso's chicken is tasty, but the pieces of chicken are gristly and fatty and way over breaded. So disappointed.
If you are looking for good consistent American Chinese food, then Yummy is the place to go. Pu Pu platter is a crowd pleaser and I like the hot and sour soup. The main courses are plentiful. My favorite is Beef with Broccoli. We live in Standish and it is worth the few minutes of extra driving to get our chinese food at Yummy's.
Been getting take out from Yummy's for years! Owners are so nice and will prepare any dish in any way you like! Great food made fast at a reasonable price! You can't beat it! We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our rural town.
Me and my boyfriend go here at least 2-3 times a month. If you live in the area, this is the place to get Chinese food. They never mess up our order, it's always hot and fresh, and the portions of the dinner specials, (we love the A6, switch up a few things) is enough to eat from at least 3 times. I just wish they would switch up there beef teriyaki. That is the one thing my boyfriend and I have tried and don't like from here.
My son tries the General Tso's chicken everywhere he goes and he gave this one a 9.75, just leaving the door open. I also liked the crab rangoon, they were perfectly sweet, just how we like them. We came in on a Facebook recommendation, and we will definitely be back to try a few different things.
