What User doesn't like about Skip's:
A welcoming spot with good food and attentive service. The bartender was quite nice as well. They offer plenty of activities like pool and cornhole. I'll definitely be returning! View all feedback.
We visited on a busy evening, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were served. My meal was fantastic, although my boyfriend's dish was just average. The band they had playing was excellent. Once the other side of the bar opened up, there was plenty of space to move around. For dinner, we spent around $10–20 per person. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was dusty and uninviting. The presentation of the food was unappetizing, so I didn't even feel inclined to try it. To top it all off, the service was incredibly lacking. I ordered a $10 drink and received a mere 0.3 ounces of tequila in it. I highly recommend you save your money and skip this place! Skip's is an enjoyable restaurant that also functions as a bar and live entertainment venue. The quality of the bar food is excellent, and the bartenders are fantastic. There are pool tables, dart boards, and even corn hole tournaments to keep you entertained. Roger Tracy, the manager, is doing a fantastic job and has assembled an outstanding team. Well...the midget wrestling was fun, I didn't do anything else here. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
My third beer of allagash white tasted funny. Afterwards I was in the parking lot getting rid of it. Bad beer or unsanitary glass.
