Beautiful little tea room to just have a quick break on your trip. The Cornish pasty was served with local chutney and a ray of herbal teas , a lovely one being green and ginger. A delightful time. Everything is home cooked and healthy. View all feedback.

We had lunch here on a Sunday and really enjoyed it. Servings were generous, vegetarian options numerous, and service friendly and prompt despite the lunch rush. Interesting teas on offer too. Loved the antique and vintage decor and aesthetic, including the crockery on the tables and the walls.
Passing though Burra on a cold and windy weekend my friend and I stopped in at this fabulous place for lunch… and so glad we did!!. The minute we walked in the door, we were greeted with a welcoming smile. The wind was howling outside..but it was warm and toasty inside by the pot belly stove. A delicious menu to tempt our tastebuds and friendly helpful staff that bent over backwards to accommodate our every whim. The food was delicious all freshly made to order using the best of local produce. We had each pumkin gorganzolla tart served with a fresh garden salad and to top it off a devonshire tea of lemon lavender scones served with with lemon curd and cream...absolutely deelicious!!! The best scones ive ever tasted!!! perfect cup of coffee..piping hot brewed to perfection and a wonderful selection of teas..my friend had madam grey tea infused with marigold, violet and lavender served in antique china and silverware dishes made this a truly memorable experience...good golly miss polly is a must visit when in burra or just passing through..you will not regret a minute of your time spent here. Highly recommended!!...Good Golly Miss Polly Is Not Just A Cafe….Its An A Feast For Your Soul
Well what a surprise this little gem was on the weekend . Went in for some lunch and was delighted to find such a great vegan / vegetarian range of food as you don't normally fine food like this in the country. I had a burger that would put most vegetarian burgers in the city to shame. Where did you get that veggie bacon from ?? Sublime .... The staff were delightful and the great range of teas were amazing too . My son loved the Cornish pasty and home made sauce so really couldn't have been more surprised so I suggest you stop in for a good feed with a group of friends and meat eaters alike and there really is something for everyone . Thanks
Gorgeous Vegetarian Lunch with 5 star customer service!!! Great Selection of teas
