This great pub in BURRA has an old world charm. The atmosphere is great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food yum! I had the fish and chips it was the best I've ever had. This was worth the walk. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Commercial Hotel:
We did not stay at the hotel, but were more or less forced to have a meal there, since everything was closed (public holiday). If it is indeed a typical "hotel" of small towns, it has probably not been cleaned since its inauguration, which reveals an equally characteristic smell when entering the establishment. . We were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch which worried us, but the price of their special lunch menu $13.90 in October 2022) still drew us in. We need not have worried. The food was well cooked and tasty. Great value for money.
What a fantastic little hotel. Meals are so good looked after me extremely well with gluten free with Coeliac Disease.
Fantastic town, probably the prettiest I have seen, so much so that I'm taking my wife back to see it. The lunch at the Commercial Hotel was absolutely beautiful and very reasonably priced. We will definitely dine there again.
Unplanned lunch. Recommended by local shop. Very basic menu. Chicken schnitzel was a good size but extremely tough. Beef schnitzel was huge and good. Salad basic but fresh.
Was travelling with friends on way to Sthn Flinders Ranges. Had chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy and mash plus a variety of veggies. It was just delicious. Apparently they have a new young female chef who had only been working there for 1 week. The other 3 lunches were par excellence. Definitely worth a visit.
