Cibo Espresso - BURNSIDE

What's with the staff here, they always look so miserable. Rarely a smile amongst any of them. The coffee is good, if only it wasn't such a drama for the service staff to actually service you. It is called hospitality for a reason, staff need to be hospitable. If it is too busy a venue for you to cope, seek alternative employment.

It's a very popular place and it does get noisy at times as lots of mums and bubs but they are quick, friendly and efficient.

Cibo at Burnside Village is unfortunately one of the least enjoyable franchises. The coffee is often poor, and occasionally average. The service leaves a lot to the imagination - waiting 15 minutes for a coffee - while it's only redeeming factor is the food, and the convenient location. I'd recommend trying Dolce & Co. or H by Felici.

I find the food a bit too oily and heavy for my liking. The cakes are ok but not really for me. The coffee is good.I often meet a colleague here, the tables a are bit small for spreading papers out but that's not Cibo's issues. Losing the big tree was very sad but it's now a whole lot safer. It's a popular place for mum's with little ones so it does get very noisy.
