Sushi Planet - Adelaide
Sushi Planet
Description
The restaurant features a beautiful and inviting decor with good service from the hostesses. However, some customers found the menu to be long and complicated, with discrepancies in pricing. The portions of sushi were noted to be small and overpriced by some reviewers. While the food quality was praised by others, the slow service and mixed experiences with staff were a point of concern. Despite these issues, the restaurant received positive feedback for its delicious sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Asian dishes. Overall, it seems that Sushi Planet offers a mixed dining experience with some room for improvement in terms of service efficiency and pricing.

The restaurant must be the most authentic Japanese restaurant I have visited in Adelaide. I used to live in Tokyo for years and the taste here just the same with the taste I had in Tokyo. It’s fantastic to dine here. Absolutely it’s a recommendable restaurant. I will definitely visit maybe again and again. Price per person: $60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered sushi for our big 1-month celebration. The place is in a really convenient spot with easy parking. Takeaway was quick—they had it ready in no time. The sushi looked great, but it was a bit lacking in flavour. If you closed your eyes, it was hard to tell the difference between pieces. It just needed a bit more love. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, which made the visit feel nice. Only downside—they gave just a tiny bit of soy sauce, but I grabbed a bottle from the servo. Overall, a good experience. I’ll definitely be back! Meal type: Other Price per person: $40–60 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Best sushi in the city! The owner herself looked after us and her attentive service and care for her customers was exceptional. The food was delicious! We even had dessert and unplanned cocktails! Highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
One of the best mid range sushi places in Adelaide. 1) The quality of the serving ware and the attention to detail is fabulous. 2) The sushi rice is melt in the mouth top notch not a sushi rice making machine in sight. 3) The sashimi is fresh and delicate how sashimi should be. 4) NO train in sight. Love! I didn't like that there were rolls with cream cheese in because that is wrong on so many levels and too much like train sushi but there was enough on the menu to distract and they allow for replacements. I would have liked red bean paste with the green tea ice cream. Hope they add that without increasing the price. Will definitely come back.
