We decided to stop here on our way to Yeppoon. Definitely a good choice! Breakfast was delicious and cheap. I loved the sandwiches! The ladies working here are also lovely. Thank you for the nice break. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kazza's Kafe:
I read the reviews before choosing to stop at Kazza's Kafe and was pleased to find that the friendly service and fresh food comments were correct. We had the steakburger and the bacon and egg burger and were pleased with the freshness of the salads. Generously sized too. I didn't see pizzas on their board menu (refer to a previous review). Kazza's is the type of small burger shop you'll find in many small towns - ser... View all feedback.
Fresh made salad roll with blackened rotten lettuce two very small slices of chicken tomato beetroot cheese and pineapple at extra charge. Egg and lettuce wrap consisting of half a boiled egg not mashed with mayo just drizzled and lettuce. Mud cake filled with condensation. Vanilla slice which was cream whipped to the consistency and colour of butter no flavour. Two cold drinks from fridge! Definitely will not return!
Kazza's is very handy for a stop in on your way north. Located just across from the public amenities, it makes your Gin Gin stop easy. The place is basic as is the menu but the service is friendly and food is very good.
Decided to try Kazza’s Cafe for a lunch venue. Ordered a sweet chilli chicken wrap. WOW!! Huge wrap with beautiful salad. So fresh and mega tasty. The staff were really lovely, even made time for a chat about their owl collection, and general town atmosphere. Will definitely dine here again, can see it becoming one of my fav lunch locations. Well done girls.
Don't need too many words to say that the service was good, the prices were reasonable but the coffee was weak in both cup and mug size.
On the highway, the cafe was a pleasant oasis on the Brisbane to Rockhampton drive. Enjoyed picnic lunch in the pleasant park between the north and south bound lanes of the highway. We had a picnic lunch but decided on coffees for the road and the staff were very natural and friendly. Whilst it was close to shutting up for the day, she told me that the coffee machine was always the last thing turned off so they could still supply coffee to travellers. The coffee was normally priced, very hot and strong with a pleasant taste. Certainly better that some we have enjoyed on this driving holiday. The meals I saw prepared and delived to diners appeared very fresh and large which made them fairly priced. There were a few tables inside a couple on the footpath, and the pleasant park across the northern lanes so lots of places to eat. Plenty of carparks available on road or in the central park. Worth a visit, even if just for the coffee as we did.
