We stopped here for lunch on our road trip. People were lining up to get in the door and this confirmed we had made the right choice by stopping here. The pies and pastries were so fresh and tasty. The staff offered outstanding service. There are plenty of tables out the front of the bakery to eat. Parking was easy, even with caravans. Next time we travel through Gin Gin we will make a point of visiting Gin Gin Baker... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gin Gin Bakery:
It is the obvious place to stop for lunch in Gin Gin. As I approached, I saw two couples walk in and straight out again. I was disappointed to realise why. Dogs are not welcome in the outside dining area. In Google reviews the owner claims it is the Bundaberg Council that stops them from allowing dogs. When you drive through Gin Gin, I do NOT recommend stopping at this bakery. To sum up…. the staff steal by overcharging customers they do not know, in order to give discounts or ‘free’ foods to their local friends.
Busy little place with both the locals and visitors. Lovely food with a good selection to choose from. Tables and Chairs on the front covered verandah to relax with cuppa and snack.
We do regular 50 minute lunch trips from Bargara to Gin Gin just so we can stop at the bakery for a pie. Curried beef is my go and they are absolutely yummy. Great range of delicious pastries too. Competent and friendly staff and plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

A lot of travellers have fur babies and they generally understand the common courtesies associated with taking the fur child into public areas. The pies and prices are OK and you can sit in the park across the road.
I do quite a few trips from Hervey Bay to Rockhampton and always stop over for a pie along the way. Their curry pies are just to die for!! Good service, friendly people and a delicious pie what more could you ask for.
