Our oysters were ok and had a bitter aftertaste almost like it wasn’t as fresh. Our tenderloin tips were really ordinary. The grilled peppers were bland, and the only saving grace, is the main course. I had the snapper and that was the best meal of the night. It was cooked perfectly.

The menu indicated it would be spicy, but I didn't find it overwhelming; perhaps that's just for those with a more sensitive palate. We also tried the fritters of the day and the squash blossom shu mai featured on the specials menu, and everyone absolutely loved them. I was dining with two other people who ordered the pork belly rice bowl and the tomahawk tonkatsu, and I sampled a bite of each. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, especially with the desserts! The brûlée rice pudding and pavlova were truly out of this world. A few items felt a bit pricey, but the quality of the food made it all worthwhile.
