I absolutely love Chef's and consider it a must-visit if you're in Buffalo. I've always been a huge fan of their sweet sauce—it's definitely my favorite. Their spaghetti parm is famous and loaded with butter and cheese, so it's not the best choice for health-conscious diners. However, they do offer salads and soups! The French onion soup is particularly flavorful and they even have a gluten-free option. Overall, I hi... View all feedback.
What daruss01 dislikes about Chef's:
The place has been around since I was a child. That said I never quite cared for their sauce. Most everyone goes there for their Spaghetti Parm. I like to go on a Thursday for their Veal Scallopini which is the best in the area. My other favorite is their Irv's special which is lightly sauced with mushrooms and hot peppers. I like to take it home and lightly fry it to meld the flavors. View all feedback.
Five stars go to our waitress leah, who was very nice to us and brought us to the right time our food, and she did an enormous job. . my man and I got the spaghetti patch with a meatball, the salat coffee and orange scarf all were good.
Chefs is a must to visit Italian restaurant when they are in the buffalo area. I have had several dishes here and have never starved or disappointed here. I was pleasantly surprised to also find gluten-free options. I recommend this restaurant!
My experience here was great as usual. the place is always busy. the hosts and server are super friendly as they take care of everyone. they always start with fresh homemade bread and a wonderfully seasoned oil to immerse it. I have my usual chicken parm. it comes with a teller spaghetti. I highly recommend that they also have spaghetti parmed.
Reservations are recommended for lunch and/or dinner. This is home style Southern Italian fare, coming in large portions, with a delicious meat sauce. Get your pasta “parmed” with ample amounts of cheese for a special treat. The salads are simple and fresh. The garlic bread with cheese is to die for. The fresh bread, made in house, is excellent. The most popular menu item is the spaghetti parm, which you eat with a knife and fork. I love their raviolis my personal favorite. The meatball sandwich is also decadent. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to improve the meatballs (more spice, cook in the sauce) as they are bland compared to everything else. They turn tables over quickly, so if you want a dinning experience with extended conversation, try to book one of the private rooms. A must visit in Buffalo!
