These people serve some FOOD BOY!!!! KIDS AT THE WINDOW and it 's in a dark little garage parking lot that screams, "I 'm going to build this for my wife so she could have something to do. AND then she brought all her friends!! It 's a little food truck haven.

I love the food here and I would say I am definitely a regular. I always ask for a watermelon aguas fresca and unfortunately everytime I go they always run out of fruit to put in it. Last time I went they gave me a plain aguas fresca and It usually comes with a chamoy rim since they are out of fruit when I go. I told the guy that I thought my rim was supposed to be dressed since I paid $9 for it. And he charged me an extra $5 to dress the rim???? Im not sure what his name was but I will get it next time. Im just upset because when i go i dont get everything im paying for and got charged extra.

The location is fantastic. They have a few picnic tables and a play area for the kids, making it a nice spot to relax. The mango agua fresca is delicious! As for the quesabirria tacos, they are generous in size, packed with meat and cheese. The consomé is really good, but be careful—it’s incredibly hot and can burn your throat! Personally, I enjoy the crispy tortilla that’s cooked in the consomé, but the tortillas on my tacos were soft, which felt a bit off. Also, a heads-up: their flautas are simply rolled tacos that resemble short, thick tacos, not the crispy, fried kind you might expect. These are not crunchy at all! We spent almost $60 (exactly $57) on three meals and three drinks. In my opinion, La Tunita serves some of the best birria tacos in Austin and Buda, and it’s more affordable too. I recommend trying both places—you'll see what I mean!

My first experience with Birria Tacos was at Tejas Birria, and it was much more than just tacos! Their menu offers a complete 360-degree experience—from the classic Birria taco to quesabirria, noodlebirria, and even grilled cheese Birria. It's Birria in every form! This was my second visit, and once again, the food was delicious and the staff friendly. Tejas Birria is definitely a must-try!

We placed our order and paid, not realizing the cashier had already added a tip to the total. When we asked about it, they said they would refund the full amount so we could tip in cash. However, when we tried to get change, they claimed they didn’t have any cash on hand. We then tried placing a new order to leave our own tip, but the cashier added a tip again without our consent. In the end, we canceled everything and got refunded, but now we have to wait 2-3 days for the transactions to process. Whatever you do, pay with cash or make sure the cashier doesn’t add the tip for you!
