It has been a year since I last visited this restaurant. My daughter and I had a great experience, thanks to the updates that have made it look fun and inviting. The staff were wonderful from start to finish. They mentioned they were short staffed but still managed to provide excellent service. The staff were friendly and did a great job. We enjoyed our drinks, appetizers, and entrees, with the spinach and artichoke... View all feedback.
What Thibaut Menard doesn't like about Mainstreet Landing Restaurant:
The dining experience was good, although not outstanding, but diners will not be disappointed. The beer was enjoyable. The service was adequate, although I overheard a staff member mentioning they were short-staffed, so it was not entirely their fault. This seems to be the norm these days. I was irritated by the preset tip options when paying, which were 20%, 23%, 26%, and 30%. In the past, I typically tipped 20%, bu... View all feedback.
A definite restaurant to eat at. Not only does it have a million dollar view but the food is beyond. Best fish and chips and taco salad. Live bands on weekends during the day and evening.
Visited after having driven by this venue for years. We were seated quickly and had our drink order and drinks on a table in 5 minutes. The place was busy too. Fish and chips, burger and fish tacos all very good. Only complaint was the chips were just average plus a bit on the pricey side. Overall happy with the experience and would recommend.
Been going to restaurant for the last 20 yrs. Arrived for lunch today, was seated promptly but then ignored for 20 minutes. At this point my wife notified the hostess that we hadn't been served, waited another 10 minutes with no service, so we left. Upon leaving I informed a waitress working in our area that the table was vacant as we were leaving because of lack of service...she didn't seem to care (elderly waitress, with a best before date). Won't be back...
It was a rainy day and we decided to have dinner away from the lake and go downtown. Mainstreet landing was only a few minutes away from Elim Lodge and while it was rather busy when we got there, we got our party of 9 seated in about 10 minutes. Good was pretty good, typical Pub style fare. I would definitely go back if we have the opportunity so that we could sit outside on the patio, unfortunately it was raining when we were there and we couldn't do that. Definitely worth a visit, and if they have some of their home made butter tarts there, get a few, maybe mail me 1!
Awesome place! Super busy but very accommodating. Live music on the patio, and great atmosphere makes this place a great destination either by boat or vehicle. The food was amazing! Had the Buffalo chicken dip (yummy spicy) went well with a ice cold twisted tea. Service was excellent and food was quick. Seeing this place get better every year is promising for the small community.
