Honey's Diner - North Kawartha

My hubby and I stopped here for an early dinner on a Friday night. Place was not busy when we go there but started to fill up quite quickly. I ordered a clubhouse and hubby ordered the fish & chips. Service was friendly and relatively quick. My clubhouse was very good. Hubby was disappointed with his fish & chips. The fish was thin and a bit dry. Chips were from frozen.On the plus side, the ladies room was very clean.

Cozy little spot with great food and service, had a nice brunch with on their day off! Would definitely recommend it, and if I'm back in the area I'd go again!

We have stopped here before and have never been disappointed in either the food or the service. Meals are excellent and our server, Paula was very accommodating and completes everything with a smile. We enjoyed the special on this visit and everything was very good. The sandwich was made with homemade rye bread and the soup of the day, split pea was excellent. The restaurant has home baking, and we took home with us a selection of butter tarts and cookies. All very delicious! Next time we are in the area, we would definitely stop here again.

I never thought I would stumble upon such great food in the middle of nowhere. Excellent soup and the daily special was delicious. Great service and good food.

Recently dropped in for lunch with friends....................Enjoyed their Prime Rib burger with soup that was SOOO Flavourful......Our server ( who is in a Culinary Course at Sir Sandford Fleming ) was so engaging and willing to Please....Over the top service with a smile.....Oh and You must try their Homemade Baked goods.....including Cookies......You will not be disapointed and will want to come back for the Food and Friendly atmosphere...We will for sure...
