Drinks are expensive-$8 for a dose crisp bier $11 for small weinglas of sangria. that was our first last visit. for the payment over $100 for what we hoped was a fine eating intimate dinner this restaurant fell extremely short on our expectations!

I have often eaten and reserved at a walter to take family to dinner that were in town. our table was ready as soon as we arrived and (as usual) the service and... read more I have often eaten and reserved at a walter to take family to dinner that were in town. our table was ready as soon as we arrived and (as usual) the service and the ambiente were great. the pork chop was delicious and the Jalapeño grooms were also. my mother never eats or commands burger, saw the table next to us ordering and was inspired to do the same. she has commented twice since how much she enjoyed it, which is probably one of the highest compliments I could think of (for a burger).

My fried chicken with mashed potatoes entree was actually very good I would recommend this. Hot honey was a nice touch on the side. Steak and fries entree was extremely disappointing. We ordered it medium, yet it arrived rare. Also, the parts that were cooked were chewy, so I don't think it would've been good even if it was cooked medium. The fries looked good in the pictures, but they were ok at best. The service wasn't very present. No one came to ask us how our food was until we were done. HITS: Seasonal French dip sandwich French fries are perfect Steak frites with the horseradish dip MISSES: I’ve gotten the burger twice and both times it was a little dry. Too many great burger places in nyc to bother with this one. I’ve also gotten their artichoke dip and their chicken and waffles during brunch and thought they were all good.
