Wasan Brooklyn is a warm and inviting restaurant that offers a varied menu. The food is incredibly tasty, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Conveniently situated near Barclays Center, it’s an ideal place to enjoy a meal before an event. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular here. This will definitely be my top choice whenever I attend an event at Barclays.

I had a wonderful dining experience at a quiet, well-managed restaurant. The $29.90 three-course meal was outstanding, complemented by an amuse bouche and soup. The service was excellent. We chose to dine here before heading to a Celine Dion concert at the Barclays Center, and I can say I’ll definitely be coming back just for the restaurant. It truly is a great hidden gem.

This restaurant is one of our favorite spots for brunch. My husband, who is Japanese, really appreciates the authentic flavors of the food. The yellowtail and salmon cheeks are always outstanding choices!

I've been wanting to visit Wasan for a long time, and today I finally had lunch there, ordering the Sashimi Bento Box. The service was quick and friendly, and while the Miso soup was decent, the Bento Box itself looked fantastic. The rice salad was delicious, and everything was tasty—except for the fish. Unfortunately, the fish was just average, and the yellowtail had a rather strong fishy smell. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning due to the experience with the fish. What a shame!
