You can enjoy a high-end dining experience at this chef-driven restaurant right in Brooklyn. The service is exceptional; from the hostess to the busboy, everyone is friendly and dedicated to making your visit as enjoyable as possible. We missed the chance to try the chef's selection and opted for the regular menu instead. The quality of the food matched the great service—we particularly loved the freshly baked sourdough bread, black bass, and pork ribs. Personally, I also enjoyed their cream puff dessert. However, I would recommend skipping the cheese and cold cuts; while they were good, they didn't measure up to the rest of the offerings given their price. Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant, and I highly recommend making a reservation.
I had a fantastic experience at Oxalis, my first Michelin-star restaurant in the US! Our standout dishes included the housemade sourdough bread, chicken, and brown butter scallops, but everything on the tasting menu was equally delightful. The service was impeccable as well. Pricing was in line with what you would expect at this level in NYC, around $200 per person including wine. I would definitely return!
