Description

This charming restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere paired with a menu that ignites the senses. While most dishes—ranging from memorable empanadas to delectable mofongo—garner rave reviews for their flavor, some patrons note inconsistencies in seasoning. The drinks, including creative boozy slushes, add an extra layer of fun to the dining experience. Though the service can be hit or miss, with some staff exuding enthusiasm while others fall short, the overall experience remains inviting. With plans for expansion and a lively outdoor patio, this is a must-visit destination for those craving a taste of authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.

Overall, the food was good, although it was a bit on the expensive side. We ordered the Alcapurrias, pernil, and pork chops served with rice and gandules. The rice was our least favorite part of the meal, as it could have used a bit more flavor.

The food and service were excellent! While I wasn't completely fond of the way the mofongo was prepared—since it wasn't traditional—it was still really delicious! The standout items for me were the morir soñando cocktail and the alcapurrias, which were both fantastic!

The food was bland. I had the jibarito sandwich and the meat had no seasoning. The mofongo with shrimp and the gravy for the mofongo needed salt and pepper. But the Isla platter was decent. I would eat that again.

This is a fantastic, laid-back bar with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the slushy drinks are spot on. The rum punch is delightful!

Absolutely fantastic! If you're in search of a lively little place, this is the one! The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious. I had to try the canoa, yuca fries, and some guacamole with chips. So tasty!
