Reviews - Norwind's
Reviews summary
This charming restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere paired with a menu that ignites the senses. While most dishes—ranging from memorable empanadas to delectable mofongo—garner rave reviews for their flavor, some patrons note inconsistencies in seasoning. The drinks, including creative boozy slushes, add an extra layer of fun to the dining experience. Though the service can be hit or miss, with some staff exuding enthusiasm while others fall short, the overall experience remains inviting. With plans for expansion and a lively outdoor patio, this is a must-visit destination for those craving a taste of authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.

We absolutely love this place! It offers truly authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, the best Spanish music, and fantastic salsa dancing, all complemented by a great resident DJ. The venue is the perfect size for any weather, especially with summer approaching, as it features a large patio. If anyone reads this before July 7th and there are still tickets available, they will be hosting a Freestyle concert that I plan to at... View all feedback.
What Juan Amadiz dislikes about Norwind's:
The food was bland. I had the jibarito sandwich and the meat had no seasoning. The mofongo with shrimp and the gravy for the mofongo needed salt and pepper. But the Isla platter was decent. I would eat that again. View all feedback.

Overall, the food was good, although it was a bit on the expensive side. We ordered the Alcapurrias, pernil, and pork chops served with rice and gandules. The rice was our least favorite part of the meal, as it could have used a bit more flavor.
The food and service were excellent! While I wasn't completely fond of the way the mofongo was prepared—since it wasn't traditional—it was still really delicious! The standout items for me were the morir soñando cocktail and the alcapurrias, which were both fantastic!

This is a fantastic, laid-back bar with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the slushy drinks are spot on. The rum punch is delightful!

The food and drinks are incredibly tasty, making it a fantastic spot to gather with friends and enjoy a wonderful time. The outdoor beer garden is an added bonus!
Absolutely fantastic! If you're in search of a lively little place, this is the one! The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious. I had to try the canoa, yuca fries, and some guacamole with chips. So tasty!
I went on a Saturday afternoon at 3p till about 7p customer serviced suked, the server appeared to not enjoy her job at all. I felt she was annoyed anytime i asked her for anything. 1 server n 1 bar tender I still can't believe they dont have separate lunch times anyway they decided to sit down to have lunch together!! Like the place literally stopped n came to stand still. On the other hand, The bar tender was much friendlier n willing to discuss ur drink options. The food was excellent no complaints there. Just a shame the Servers Customer Service was soo poor..

The food is delicious, but the waitress seems unhappy in her job. The service could really improve if they had a friendlier staff member!
First all the food is slamming. The empanadas are unforgettable. The guacamole is something you are not willing to share. My daughter destroyed the wings in two seconds. I would advise to get the wings crispy and have the sauce on the side. The Tacos were pretty good you get two for 13 bucks. Nelly is really nice she know how to handle a crowd.I will say if you want a table call in advance the place is small in the process of expanding with a roof top.
My friend and I shared the mofongo, which was absolutely delicious. Our waitress also let us sample some of the boozy slushes, so I couldn't resist trying the Hennessy mango slush—it was amazing!
Very tasty food. I just felt it was a little pricey and I could have done without the blasting music. Very friendly staff.
