The soy garlic Korean fried chicken was unreal— as a Korean giving my stamp of approval the food is not only delicious but when I miss my mom’s cooking this place does the job. Great Williamsburg gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
The food at this restaurant is phenomenal. Every item on the menu is delicious, especially the bibim bap. The bul go gi portion is a bit small for the price, but still tasty.
We’ve been regulars at chingoo since they opened. It’s such a solid spot. They’ve been consistently good since day one. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
The shumai was very small, likely not homemade, and filled with a mushy filling that only had 1 to 2 small pieces of shrimp. The size of the shrimp was comparable to salad shrimp. The japchae dish consisted mainly of noodles with very few vegetables and small pieces of meat. Overall, it was not worth the $28 price tag.
