What Kiiesa B dislikes about Chingoo:
The shumai was very small, likely not homemade, and filled with a mushy filling that only had 1 to 2 small pieces of shrimp. The size of the shrimp was comparable to salad shrimp. The japchae dish consisted mainly of noodles with very few vegetables and small pieces of meat. Overall, it was not worth the $28 price tag. View all feedback.

The owners are so funny and kind and the food is on point, best Korean food in Brooklyn hands down. I like the pork cutlet, kimchi jigae, and beer haha . This is my go to for my hangover cure as well as to achieve the hangover. Drinks are solid!

This is a great no frills spot! The wings and teokbokki were so good and they have a great selection of soju as well. The service was super fast and easy to ask for vegetarian substitutions, can’t wait to go back.

This is a nice homey feeling Korean restaurant near Graham Ave L train station. It's so convenient location, so I wanted to try. I had spicy pork bibimbup in hot stone bowl, comes only with a small kimchee as free side dish. The atmosphere, service, and menu are wonderful, but I didn't like the bibimbup the way they cook. It had A LOT OF black pepper in the white rice, and tasted very differently from the one I know. I'm an Asian, I love spicy food, but not black pepper rice. Maybe I'll try a different dish next time to see...

I had bibimbap, tteokboki, and Korean fried chicken, all of which were deliciously flavorful, well cooked and aromatic! A little pricey, but definitely worth it! Definitely recommend these dishes and this restaurant!

K5 Teriyaki in Brooklyn offers a mixed dining experience. While some patrons rave about the fast service, welcoming atmosphere, and standout dishes like Korean fried chicken and bibimbap, others find certain menu items like shumai and japchae lacking in value and flavor. The eatery is celebrated for its affordability and friendly owners, making it a popular spot for gatherings. However, opinions on specific dishes vary, with some diners expressing disappointment over portion sizes and seasoning choices. Overall, K5 Teriyaki provides a casual dining environment with a blend of enjoyable and mediocre options for Korean cuisine enthusiasts.

The food was good but disappointingly small portions. The bibimbap had about 3 oz of bulgogi max, and I was still hungry after finishing.

The food at this restaurant is phenomenal. Every item on the menu is delicious, especially the bibim bap. The bul go gi portion is a bit small for the price, but still tasty.

K5 Teriyaki was average. It did not stand out for its price and there are better options in the area that are equally priced or even cheaper. The Korean chicken wings were tasty but too expensive. Considering the price, I would have expected them to be served with rice or other accompaniments.

My only complaint is that the entree seemed like a small portion, especially on the protein . It is a bit overpriced but absolutely delicious.

The soy garlic Korean fried chicken was unreal— as a Korean giving my stamp of approval the food is not only delicious but when I miss my mom’s cooking this place does the job. Great Williamsburg gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
