Was Anonym at Hartbreakers a mag?
owned by the same people who champs and other vegan restaurants in brooklyn, I have always held that hardbreakers the one of these series of restaurants that are /spiritually good / get the waffel fries and the thunderbird and they will not be disappointed. fr, which is broth on the chicken. Unbelievable View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Hartbreakers:
The food is tasty, but inconsistent. My “chicken” patty was nice and big and warm, while my husbands was smaller and colder, and also came out almost 20 minutes after mine. The staff is way too carefree/lax/confused. I get we’re in BK and we’re super hipster/edgy/chill, but if you want to charge that much for food that’s inconsistent and expect people to come back, you need to get with the program If I were in the g... Came with a friend and we shared the picnic baket burger, the thunderbird and the animal friars. service was great, sauces were great. the stand out was the picnic basket burger. messy, but delicious.
Immaculate vibes, lovely space, but the driest salad I have ever purchased. I did receive a thimble of extra dressing, however, the kale salad was so intensely dry and unmixed that it ended up in my fridge where I used it as a base for smaller side salads. Heartbreakers had extremely fresh produce it’s just the combo raw greens no moisture), skimpy dressing and entirely unmixed ingredients that made the lunch inedible and not enjoyable. Perhaps it’s better to stick with the other items on the menu which I admittedly have not tried. I do not eat imitation food of any sort so I cannot comment on the vegan “meats” but the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their food. It’s still worth a try! But maybe bring a small contingency dressing or olive oil if your a salad person like me.
This has been a favorite spot of mine for several years now. Easily the best vegan chicken sandwich I’ve had. I’ve brought non vegans here plenty of times and they always love it. My go-to is the picnic basket sandwich. The fries are a must
The food here is fine nothing to write home about, but if you just need some calories it’ll get the job done. they don’t have reusable utensils, which is incredibly confusing and disappointing you have to open a pack of disposable ones. they’re always out of at least one menu item i’ve tried to order, each time i’ve been.
The food isn't bad, but I'm giving a harsh critique considering the selection of other (superior) vegan options in that neighborhood. Their deep fried items are overcooked, so they're a little too crunchy depend on the sauce for flavor. They have great baked goods in stock, but I think they're made by another business. I think the service could be more friendly.
