beautiful, turnkey veggie pizza in brooklyn. **** about when I was in a bar in the opposite and needed real food. fast and cheap. pizza and cheese textures are perfect, but they need more robust aromen. would go back if I were in the opposite. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Norbert's Pizza Bushwick:
The restaurant is charming and the staff is welcoming. However, we were disappointed by the vegan pizza which was bland with a pesto base lacking in flavor. It appeared that the menu online did not match the offerings at the restaurant. Overall, we would not return solely for the pizza. View all feedback.
They look, the hours and the toppings can be annoying, and for this occasion, so can be what stand they are in the last decades, but as I said, long live nobert’s. the current local opposite to mr. kiwi’s is a jewel, and the new look in the last year or so gives this old school vegan hope that there are more years memories coming at late night seasoned and working stoves. on my last visit, the art kerl work even let me design the last vegan cake of the night recommendation: ask who works to get her disc or cake crispy
I'm sorry to disagree with the reviewer below, but I don't think this is the best vegan pizza around. There are better options in New York, such as Screamer's or Two Boots. I've also had better pizza outside of the city. However, this local spot does offer vegan cheese, although they could improve the quality and quantity of the Daiya cheese. The slice we tried didn't have much on it. The crust was great and the location had a cozy dive bar feel. They also had affordable vegan sandwiches on the menu that I would consider trying next time. Unfortunately, they were closed when Google Maps said they would be open, with no indication of their hours. In summary, the pizza was okay but not the best, suitable for a quick and cheap meal if you're in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.
The restaurant is small but offers plenty of vegetarian slices and one vegan slice. The vegan slices are priced at $3 each.
Title says it all. I was stayin with a friend that lives nearby, and all the nights that I was there I went to get a slice. BIG slices, fair price, great taste, lots of cheese.
I'm so happy to have a vegan pizza option in the neighborhood! That said it is not the best in the city by far and they are sloooow. I think with time they may improve, more toppings please and creativity with the vegan pies!
