I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for seven years. However, my last five visits to Calexico in the past three months have been consistently disappointing. The staff is still great, but it seems like they may have changed their recipes to cut costs. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer. I used to rely on fresh ingredients and generous servings of guacamole, but that is no longer the case. Calexico has become very basic. I will now have to find a new favorite spot or simply go without a 1200 calorie burrito.

I ordered a pork quesadilla and it tasted like the pork had been scraped off the bottom of the grill. It had a burnt taste and there were black spots all over the pork.

They also forgot to in... read more We placed a large delivery order at this restaurant and unfortunately, they missed several items which really affected our family dinner. They also forgot to include the extras we paid for. When my sister called to inform them of the missing items, they responded rudely and did not offer any solution. The food was mediocre at best. My burrito was poorly prepared, with one side filled with only lettuce, sour cream, and pickled onions while the other side had all the meat and rice. Additionally, we paid extra for jalapeños but they were nowhere to be found.

I ordered with “everything on it.” There were still just beans and cheese. That’s on me, but now I know. Staff was very friendly and nice.

Today i asked for the same thing, but i checked before, on the spot, the gave me all wrong! a bowl with all the dairy i cannot eat.. Then they took a forever to re make my burrito. Never again!
