I agree with all the 5 star comments. This place is so good, I will take my hubby here for a date, even though it's a mall food court. (A good place to take a walk on the cold winter days. They are made fresh when you order, so it takes about 10 min toget your food. Everything we ordered was very delicious.
Live on the North Shore...but it's totally worth the drive. Friendly service. The arepas are great (better eaten on location than carry out)...but still great either way! Total Hidden Gem! Note: it's in a Food Court in the Mall. Park by LearningExpress Toys to reduce walk time.
Hard to put into words how great Arepa 's Place is. We hired them to cater our wedding reception with their empanadas and the feedback was phenomenal. Everyone loved the empanadas as well as the food truck vibe. The empanadas were fried to order meaninghot and fresh when people were hungry. The pricing was also super reasonable for the food truck compared to normal weddingfood--and this was much better than the normal wedding food : We cannot thank them enough for being part of our special day!
Tried for the first time this weekend. Went with a beef and cheese (Gouda is the only option) arepa, and a garlic cilantro sauce on the side. The sauce was ok, but not worth $1. Overall, it was ok. Very greasy! If I happen to be at the mall and we decide toeat in the mall, I 'd eat it again. My husband said he wouldn 't. Our son (teen) tried a bite a said meh . The service was good, the 2 gentlemen working were nice, explained the menu and answered questions.
The Rumbera was incredibly tasty. I requested no avocado and the staff had no problem accommodating my request. I believe I chose the house sauce, which was also very good, although I didn't end up using much of it because the rumbera was so delicious on its own. The Fried Arepitas were also amazing, and I couldn't even finish them because they were so filling. Lastly, I tried the Papelon with Lemon and it was absolutely delicious – I definitely need more of that drink. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars were that there was no ice in my drink, making it warm, and the cheese in the Fried Arepitas wasn't fully melted, giving it a slightly rubbery texture. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely order from here again. Yum Yum!
