TGI FRIDAYS - Brookfield

When we came in, a host brought us ready to sit, but shortly after a second host appeared and asked where we were placed. understandable, but then they had a little disagreement in front of us where we should sit. my man and I were with our two young children and wanted to be just sat. Once we were, the server did not dive on our table for 10-15 minutes. when the restaurant was busy, again understandable, but it wasn't.

The service was slow and eating was over price for the portion size. in general this was in order, but not great.

Made a reservation with open table and they told us they do not use this app. Had to wait 30min Service was poor Did not bring correct food

While our server was very nice, the restaurant is clearly understaffed. We ordered an appetizer that never came. When our food was being delivered, I asked about the appetizer which the server thought had been delivered. The manager delivered a fresh one with our meal at no charge which was nice. I ordered steak and ribs but the ribs didn’t come out. The server eventually let me know that she was trying to get the ribs but by this time the rest of my party had finished so I had it dropped from the order. Someone in my party got pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was weird because it had the texture of the sauce but it had absolutely no taste. The food was mediocre. Not horrible but not great. All in all we were there for 1.5 hours to only get some of our order. Would not recommend til they get fully staffed.

Fridays did not know that I made a reservation on Open Table when we arrived. They were not prepared. First they shoved all seven of us in a booth for five people. Then we had to wait til they put two other tables together. Our waitress told us that several servers did not show up for work. As a result we waited quite some time before our server could even take our drink orders. The one bartender looked like he cared less about serving us. They were very short of help, and the place was fairly empty. The food was good. I will not go back to this particular Fridays again. It was the same as the last time I was there about a month ago.
