It was... read more Asked for a mug of coffee, carrot cake and a pink grapefruit drink. The coffee came in a cup. The carrot cake was unexceptional taste wise and visually. It was presented as a slice on a plate no cream or flower /nut garnish. We had to re ask about the pink grapefruit drink which staff had forgotten. When it eventually came (well after the coffee drinker had finished), the pink grapefruit seemed only to refer to the pinkish colour cordial used with soda water. All this whilst looking at weeds in the garden area. The place did seem clean so that gave it an extra star.

The tiny teddy biscuit is an iconic part of this cafe for me and reminds me of my childhood. Service is also good and staff are attentive. The cafe has lots of indoor and outdoor tables.

We ordered a ham and cheese toasted sandwich and a chocolate brownie. The toasted sandwich was dry and had very little filling. The coffee wasn't memorable.

We... read more Dropped in for a quick bite after shopping and was pleasantly surprised. My wife had an iced chocolate which was absolutely delicious. I had a great coffee. We both had the lamb pita which was delicious. Service was attentive. Couldn't fault it. Great place for a quick bite.
