Chicken satay is one of the best I've ever seen, and her chicken rice took me right back to singapur. not expensive, large selection of food and huge portions. I will. every time I visit brisbane.

It's funny, right? they fly 7-8 hours from singapur and they landed in a restaurant serving similar Singapore food in the queen street mall in brisbane. the rea... read more It's funny, right? they fly 7-8 hours from singapur and they landed in a restaurant serving similar Singapore food in the queen street mall in brisbane. the real reason is obvious, we were tired and hungry after our flight and have no time...not adventurous enough to try other things. we just want dinner and back to the hotel to sleep. we are small eaters, but we ordered 3 courses for the 2 of us anyway. we had chickensatai, roti canai with curry chicken and pappa wat tan hor. portions were bigger than what we are used to, but these were really delicious. Chicken satay are moist and soft and the erdnusssatin sauce is authentic, the roti canai (roti prata) tasted like home and the chicken pieces are surprisingly delicate and soft. the wat tan hor fun is in the wok pre-fried to reach this burned fragrance that many cook do not normally for this dish today. we call that wok-hei. so tasty we finished everything and left happy. this is a medium price restaurant and offers good value for money dishes with very authentic taste.

However, I would highly recommend ordering multiple servings of the dumplings with some rice - you'll leave feeling completely satisfied.
