Was Gunnar Reynolds at Coffee Mill a mag?
last week in this caffe for a quick brekkie. it was early in the morning, so it wasn't busy yet. to go a flat white with a blueberry muffin. now, merlo coffee came without latte art, but strong strength was the highlight. muffin was heated, which was full of blueberries, so that the texture was slightly damp. the overall experience was not bad this time; above all, it was very pleasant to observe the historical mill... Ordered the banana bread which came with very nice texture but the whole dining experience was ruined by the cup of coffee. Being a café who serves Merlo and next to the busy Espresso bar, my expectation was pretty high on its coffee. Standard was below average with weak strength and not quite smooth though. May be they think that customers come for the sandwiches and snacks not keen on having a cup of good coffee. It was a shame....

I didn't know my last review was almost three years here. I came at 07:15, business was average, but had good traffic flow. I ordered a regular brekkie to go with a flat white. coffee first came with a smart merlo coffee cup. the interpretation of the Merlo brake was above the average. savory court came next. it looked spectacular with generous portioning speck with an sourded, grilled tomato and two sunny eggs. if the eigelb could run easily, it would be a perfect...read more
The Mill Coffee is a big hit with the medical staff and patients who fill Wickham terrace on weekdays.
The Coffee Mill cafe is located across the road from the Old Windmill, Queensland's oldest and arguably one of our less impressive historical structures.
