Was Gobhian at Chapter IV a mag?
Cute location! House converted into a cafe works really well especially with the the balcony that borders the cafe. Food was tasty but I had menu envy when I saw someone order the Soft Shell Crab Benedict but I guess there's always next time. View all feedback.
What Sonia Bartell dislikes about Chapter IV:
What happened to the play area? Once quite a nice big area to play in, it's been halved in size to fit in two extra tables that just block the way into the play area. Coffee and pastry was just average so not even worth going to for the food. View all feedback.
I came here with the mum crowd because the cafe includes a little play area for kiddies. It is fully enclosed and packed with toys, due to this the cafe is a hot spot for the parents. Keep in mind you should book a table if you are dining here to enjoy the play area (and want to be able to see the kids) as these seats in high demand and limited. I've eaten here twice, the first time I had the pulled pork po boy. It was not really enjoyable, it was soggy and the bun was a cheap hot dog bun that ended up as a squishy mess. It really needed some more freshness and a better quality bun. On my second visit I ordered the nourish bowl - pretty much the opposite meal of my previous visit. The bowl was really delicious, filling, nutritious and so fresh. I really enjoyed this one. The staff are friendly and helpful, i'd come back for another nourish bowl and coffee.

I adore Chapter IV menu - it's creative and a little bit different to usual brunch fare. Tables out front are small but dog friendly. It seems child friendly as well so can be quite noisy so not recommended for a romantic brunch. Service always quick and food always good
Despite the hot weather in Brisbane, we chose to sit on the terrace overlooking the city. The restaurant had retractable awnings to shield us from the sun, but there was also a cozy, air-conditioned indoor seating area. The ambience was relaxing and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort during the hot weather. I would definitely return to this restaurant, especially for the amazing view. I can't wait to try their desserts next time!
