A very nice brasserie close to the train station, the products are beautifully prepared and the service is attentive!
The empty restaurant surprised us, as my mother is used to seeing it packed. But we had a good meal. I personally ordered a potato crisp with egg and mushrooms as a starter (I had my two companions try it, and they also approved), followed by a pork tenderloin stuffed with onions and mustard sauce (the meat was tender and well-cooked). The only downside was the cold potatoes at the bottom of the bowl, with a few warm ones on top. For dessert, a delicious chocolate pear choux pastry was a very generous portion; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chocolate cream, for once, wasn't too sweet, and the choux pastry dome was lightly caramelized and crispy. As for the wine, I didn't like the Saumur at all, but my mother's red Burgundy was good. The waiter was friendly.
We absolutely loved Le Ruffé. It's a charming place with a warm atmosphere and a real focus on local produce. The cuisine is simple yet expertly prepared, with flavorful dishes that showcase the best of Brittany. You can taste the care taken with the quality of the ingredients and the homemade preparations, which makes all the difference. The service is welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short, a truly excellent restaurant where you'll have a wonderful time, and one we wholeheartedly recommend.
A warm atmosphere, a very professional welcome, and excellent service await you at this well-located restaurant in the city center. The menu offers fish dishes (fish stew, monkfish wrapped in bacon) as well as meat and a vegetarian option. Appetizing starters and carefully prepared desserts—you can taste the homemade touch. The €39 set menu (starter/main course/dessert) is a good deal. The wine list is very comprehensive. We will gladly return.
