We've only just discovered this Indian Restaurant on Jean Jaures. Neither of us are eaters of Indian food, so we were quite curious to try it for the first time. We'd read the reviews on TripAdvisor so we thought we'd give it a go. The restaurant itself has a very authentic Indian feel. When you walk into the restaurant you feel like you are entering a small piece of India tucked away in Brest. We tried the Onion Bahjis and Vegetarian Samosas, which were fantastic. We then (being vegetarian) ordered a Grilled Aubergine curry and a Potato and Spinach curry... both of which were nice. We didn't realise that we would have had to order rice as well, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant... moreso our French. The food was delicious and the price was nice for a two course sit down meal in a restaurant. Anyone going to Brest should try this place, if only to take a break from the constant creperies.
Food was excellent, service was excellent, what else to say, satisfied.. if you are looking to vary your experience in Brest and have other food than pancakes and again pancakes then you'll definitely like it here. We took butter-chicken and chicken vindaloo with rice, and would certainly go back.
I recommend in high hands, never more than 10 minutes waiting even with the world, unique prices, 7 euros the wide tacos menu bigger than the tacos XL of o'tacos (whose tacos fries menu drinks 12 euros), very good reception of the chef and succulent sauces!
