What Jean Todesco dislikes about Il Castello:
We arrived 29 minutes late after a 1h45 drive in the rain and we didn't think to warn the pizzeria as a result, we were thrown out by a contemptuous waiter, even though we had left our contact details. I do not recommend this establishment which apparently favors numbers to the detriment of customer satisfaction. PS the star is only to access the publication, To flee !!! Arrivals without reservation we have been very welcome. The service is very good. reasonable prices. I recommend.

Pleasant moment with friends to the terrace of il castello, enjoying wonderful bruschete accompanied by a succulent Italian wine wonderful small gastronomic journey in italia moored at the quai tabarly à brest arrivederci e a presto kenavo

The ambience is okay. A bit small. We asked for a table on the side of the restaurant instead of being placed on a long table in the middle but, we were told that the side areas are already reserved. Then came a family. They were shown a table but they didn't like the location and so asked for the same table we asked previously. Et voila! This family was given the table as requested. Fine. The servers took time to take our orders. They were just passing us (noting that we are in the middle so it wasn't hard to miss). The pizza came late. The taste mediocre. Just when we are about to order our second round of drinks or think of dessert, we were told that the SECOND RESERVATION on our table arrived already. OMG moment I thought it was a joke. We were booted out and we weren't even asked for dessert or cafe. And if we still want, we can do so in the terrace. We preferred the interior cause of the wind and they were so kind to suggest the terrace where we can freeze. This restaurant is a joke. I worked in the hospitality industry and been to different restaurants all over but, this is the first we have encountered. Such a bad unprofessional way to treat customers. The food didn't even make it up for the service. Stay away from this place!
