A group of 6 of us had dinner at this quiet restaurant on the harbourside in Brest. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We started with a Kir Breton containing cider an interesting combination! For an appetiser I had a tasty goats cheese salad followed by scallops that were excellently presented and delicious. Others in my party had different starters that were equally tasty. It was a friday evening and we were surprised that there was only a few tables with customers perhaps it was because we were early, about 7.00. With 2 bottles of wine and a complimentary liqueur, the bill came to about 40 Euros per head. All in all an pleasant eating experience.
I had a pleasant time in this restaurant, the staff is welcoming, listening and extremely warm. The dish: a slaughter!!! Brochette de gambas with his small sauce licking his fingers Too bad, there was only one skewer. Sniff. The cheesecake dessert, nothing to say. I ate very well. Besides, I'm going back tomorrow before I leave Brest. Nice discovery. Good value for money. Good location. I highly recommend.
